Approved installers for Cintec Structural Reinforcement
Systems
DHD Structural Ltd are approved installers for Cintec
Structural Reinforcement Anchor Systems. Our operatives hold current
CSCS cards and are CITB trained in diamond drilling.
The Cintec Anchor system comprises of a stainless
steel square section, or a rolled hollow round section, surrounded
by a fabric sleeve (sock). A specially designed cementious grout
is injected under pressure through the hollow stainless steel section
and released through holes into the fabric sleeve expanding under
control to achieve a completed anchor. The Cintec anchor offers
vast application possibilities in building and Civil Engineering
projects. At the small end of the Cintec injection Anchor scale,
the system has been used, for instance on houses that have been
built with perforated bricks. Due to the hollow spaces in the bricks
the standard methods using resin grouted or mechanically expanded
ties are not effective. The Cintec remedial wall ties have been
successfully tested by the BRE Structural Integrity Division. Out
of the many types of Cintec anchor applications we can only illustrate
a few on this web site. These have been selected to demonstrate
the large range of the Cintec anchors and our company’s technical
capability to install all types of anchor systems.
